tiny bump. Im in westchester next to MDR.
did anyone notice how fast usgs had it up, I saw jdavis's thread just second after it was posted it took me the three minutes difference to find my bookmark and they had the data up by then, 6 mins later, distance calcs and all. Anyone have any idea how there reporting stations work? I am assuming it auto posts to a database immediately but I would love to actually see how they are doing it, I bet it is an incredible bit of programming!
i'm in the OC and didn't feel it. I can jump up and down and cause more than a 3.3. Quakes don't count until min 4.0.
nothin here..

hmm... it's actually not that often that the epicenter is as close to a highly populated area... maybe that's why some are saying it felt strong.
Oystein... I was in Westchester for about 6 years... nice little nice pocket in west LA.. I was near La Tijerra and Airport and Playa Del Rey before that. Do you like it there? |
