Dog Lovers - Funny Video
 

We've been having some sub-zero temps here recently and we have an older dog that doesn't deal well with the cold weather. I ordered some boots for him so he'd be able to tolerate the cold when I take him out to do his business. The only problem is the boots kinda freak him out. You've gotta see the way he dances around waving his legs like a little nutball. Anyone else here have to put boots on their dogs to take them out in the winter?

As you see in the video, he will get use to them quickly.

haha, yeah it was a real struggle for Jake and I to get the boots on him in the first place! Poor little guy.

Cute, we bought little boots for our dog and he tries to eat them off of his feet, they lasted all of 3 minutes.

Once he got outside he was like "hey these things aren't bad"

my dog does the same thing except in az we use the boots during the summer when the concrete gets super hot.

My Lab craves the cold. He loves it.

But, I hear its important to cover the doggie's feet on cold days. Coats are supposedly useless, but boots are great if the dog can get used to it. That concrete gets cold.

He's walking like he has scuba fins on. Thats rad.

A friend of mine who has wood floors puts those on her dog inside the house so he doesn't scratch the wood and he runs with them like they are second nature to him.

Our Lab loves the snow too. :thumbsup

She doesn't seem to be bothered by the super cold temperatures. We're always careful not to let her stay out too long just in case.

My dog about refuses to even go outside when it is damp.
Though she actually likes to wear clothes. If you hold out a collar, or a shirt - whatever she will run to you and try to get into it.

Man your place in the mountains is great, love the scenery and I can almost feel the crisp air just looking at the pics and video.

Our dog did the same thing when we use booties in the winter for him. He didn't even want to do his business with them at first. But he got used to them. He doesn't mind the boots, but hates the time having to put them on. It saves his paws from the freezing Canadian winters and the salt that people use on the roads/sidewalks, so its worth it.
