google adwords questions

2 questions:
do they allow direct affiliate links? Theres a passage in the terms and conditions but i dont really understand it, its like it's written by a lawyer (not understandable)
does google US allows porn? I know dutch google does, i can visit google US (the .com) but the adword ads are still dutch ads.

porn ads will be rejected 99.99%, and i think they don't want ref.links that redirect to some other domain.

example:

yoursponsor/site1/ref5/ goes to site5.com/[ref5] via sponsor main site.

- you need a proxy if you want to see the US ads

- no, they don't allow direct affiliate links - it needs to be your domain you are linking to. you need your own landing page - although you can try and it might go unnoticed for a while. but most (mainstream) sponsors don't allow direct linking either

Brads www.fastsize.com program is accepted by google, as long as you make a not-to-graphic text

Adwords allows porn, direct aff. codes I am not sure but you can use your own site and link the aff. link codes from there.
Just some words are not allowed in ads (or text / suggestions) on landing pages.

Adsense doesn't and like MaDalton said; some countries might not do it for legal reasons per country.
In Holland we cannot use words like; teen, teens, young, fucking, gay, slut, etc.
3 warnings and your account is closed/banned.
If you advertise a lot you get some account managers within google.

Toni 01-29-2009 12:42 PM

I think Adsense and Adwords is being mixed up here

Ok, I see, didnt know that. Those banned words are for every country, I believe.
But GAY??? How can they block gay?

Not all gay texts, just the word gay. Since it has a broader meaning if somebody would search for gay bars or something.

But other words like abuse, sluts, etc. are also not allowed in Holland.
