Yeah, I did that when I read the article. There were over 50 different sectors (including private) and 3% of the entire population in the streets.

That is a fucking lot of people on one day protesting against the government and their reforms, whatever way you look at it.

One very general reason was exactly because of the time - the govt has bailed out the banks with nearly a hundred billion euros (not including euro bailouts). Yet the other private sectors had to go whistle, and the public sectors had to suffer with cutbacks to pay for the bank bailouts.

The banks cause this mess, they get bailed out. The others can go and fucking whistle and suffer.

Why?
