Anyone visted the Dominican Republic lately?
 

Thinking about going there. Any feedback from people as to where to stay , where to go...etc..

there are better places in the caribean to visit for the same money.
If you go there stay on the resort property.

Where else would you go?

Never been there but the sound of it made me very curious.

Went to Punta Cana in DR March of 08. The resort was really nice and it's pretty cool that you can walk up a strip along the ocean to the other resorts. As long as you stay on resort property you're safe. The weather is beautiful and the people are very nice. Don't expect much nightlife. It's more of a place to go if you like to chill on the beach (really nice beach). Wear HEAVY sunblock if you go!!!! The sun is INSANE!
