But it doesnt look like it "jumped" per se.. they negotiate cliffs like that all day long thousands of feet up :) Crazy things

I seen a cat jump off a house and did the same thing.. when he got near the bottom he kicked off the side of the house and landed just fine.. looks like what the goat is about to do.

hes a fuckin mountain goat.... its what they do he didnt jump from the top, just right there where it rounds off... he has barely went 2 feet in the pic...and yes hes about to kick off towards, but not quite to the pavement...

That is a great shot, I love the Kananaskis Country. Great place with beautiful scenery, i have been through several times.

As for the goat, it looks more like a young bighorn to me. but /me shrugs. that jump is nothing. thats what goats/sheep do. it's how they roll. i've seen sheep tumble hundreds of feet down treacherous ass rock, flop back to their feet and keep going. they are crazy assed animals...
