sitedepth

I'm debating on whether or not to go with Sitedepth for a CMS. Anyone have any problems with this program? Any help, comments, opinions would be REALLY appreciated.

Thanks

Sitedepth is pretty nice, I haven't used the latest version though. There are a few elements in the design that were hard coded in the order version instead of being template driven. I don't know if they have fixed that in the latest version. That was always the biggest thing that bugged me, you were kind of locked into their display style unless you implemented some clever hacks.

I'd love to talk with you about our competitive CMS product, MAS. With it, you can automate your updates, group your content however you'd like, create different sizes and version of your content, etc. Everything you'd want from a CMS. We have an excellent development staff who continually supports MAS.

A good example of how our product is always improving with the times is our 2257 plug in that allows you to organize and store your 2257 docs with your sets as you upload them. Just one of many examples of how we're keeping up! :thumbsup

Please check out the full feature list here:

Contact me about MAS and I can set you up with a demo, or answer any questions you might have. :)

I'm confident in saying you will not find a better solution than Elevated X but don't take my word for it. Don?t base any decisions on the replies you get here, do a little research , gfy searches, etc. and educate yourself as to what's out there. You'll see the consensus and find plenty of feedback from actual customers to help you make the best choice.

If you haven't seen our system yet, whether you end up using us for this or future projects I promise that taking a look will be well worth your time.

I'd stay away from SiteDepth.

Over promise. Under deliver.

They owe Parge money.

After using Sitedepth, and now Elevated X, I would say Elevated X beats it hands down for ease of use, ease of modification, and overall support. I can get to AJ anytime, I can't say the same for Sitedepth.

it does what its supposed to do

I would have to say Elevate as well. Much better and easier to navigate.. if you need someone to Skin ElevatedX let me know. I have a person that can do it for you.

Quoted for truth. We moved servers and it takes sitedepth support a week to change our license with a BS response each day. On the other hand, i can email or message AJ with a concern and get instant response.

Support is the biggest winner for me next to ease of use and customization.

Sitedepth is a simplier entry level CMS. Mostly for solo sites. It breaks down for multi-model sites and have lots of sites. If you have simple needs it is easier to get up and running and to use. It's a lot cheaper as well.

ElevatedX seems to be the most flexible and the recent additions of Smarty templates makes it even easier.

MAS is not as flexible as ElevatedX but a little easier to use. Definitely more flexible than Sitedepth though.
