GFY Programmers

Is it possible to have certain links (ones linking off site), to which when clicked. They open that url in a new window, and ALSO have a little popup window come up that states that they've left the site?

Or is anything remotely possible? And how? :helpme

JavaScript, and you'll want to assign a function that fires whenever one of those links is clicked.

I think I'm going to use a modal for this. As I'm yet to find a possible way for the popup.

Uhm, this is your trolling? As I said, I went with a modal. Couldn't find anything in javascript that did exactly what I needed. :upsidedow

That's because you don't know where to look. Many people in this thread have given you the correct direction, but you're to fucking stupid to figure it out.

lol. You crack me up dude. But a modal worked much better than a js onclick warning box or message. It's much newer technology and more cross browser/system compatible.

Crawl back under your rock. You got nothing. :thumbsup

I've got more then you do. I'm surprised Bods site even held up with that shitty programming you did.

What programming, on which site? Come on, let's see some details since you seem to think you know what you are talking about.

Ah yes. The one that was really successful, was one of the first babe blog gallery scripts, and which some websites still run today?

Oh, man. Can't believe you brought up that rough memory. :1orglaugh

That script was ground breaking for it's time. There is a reason so many websites used it before K&D created arylia. It was basic, for today's standards. But man the features it had and what it could do. And it never ran slow, the process of creating a gallery was slow - but not because of the scripting. Just because setting up all the features for the gallery like titles, keywords, sponsors, and banners was a lot of info to input in. Once the gallery was made it was a static page. There was no scripting in the gallery page once it was finished. So there was nothing to "slow" a website down. :winkwink:

So sorry to burst your bubble. Thank You, please try again. :1orglaugh

I don't think "haha, you wrote the gallery system for a 100k/day site" and "what a noob he asked about a feature he didn't know how to implement" is really 'trolling'.

It's more like "trying to troll and failing miserably". :Kissmy
