What percentage of the value of your investments have you lost in the market?

I have lost around 42% of the value of my investments...up to this point in time?

Allformyspace 02-01-2009 02:40 AM

Same here this year about 35 to 40%

theking 02-01-2009 11:39 AM

Anyone else care to weigh in?

kmanrox 02-01-2009 11:40 AM

i think to put money in other people's control when you have your own ideas and business is just silly.

nico-t 02-01-2009 11:43 AM

cykoe6 02-01-2009 11:46 AM

I cashed out a lot of my shit over the summer. I tried to warn you all that the market was set to crash but most of you called me insane, tin foil hat, and so on. Oh well, you all can keep watching the news telling you everything is alright and that the "market has rebounded" when it goes up 100 points following a 500 point loss.

I kept my gold, I kept my silver.

Keep listening to Schiff and you'll be hunkered down in an old fallout shelter clutching an M16 before you know it :winkwink:

Good move cashing out of the market last summer though :thumbsup

The 42% has now become about 51%. I wonder when the tide will turn.

It's true.

I (as well as others here have said the same) can take $2000 or 5000.00 and can easily double, triple, it in 6-12 months time. I could do it in content alone, never mind other things I am working on.

You are not going to get a good return like that in the real world of investments. Why invest for 5-12% when you can double your money betting on yourself?
