God, it's also a nightmare of popup hijacking -- your conversion ratio would double if you killed those popups -- nothing turns a surfer off quicker -- or confuses them more. The worst is that full monitor-expanding crap. Ditch 'em.

agreed - it's fucking popup hell. no surfer will EVER come back to that site again.

Thanks for the advice, but since adding those popups, no one has complained, our traffic has gone up, and our sales have gone up also.
I originally figured I'd put them up and get so much slack from people about them and then I'd have to take them down....but nothing negative has happened yet.

The guys are right, though. Too many pop-ups. Depend on the quality of your site more, and horrible traffic hijacking less. I don't click the same link twice, if I close it the first time because it filled my screen with crap. Sure, its working some, but at least pare back on it!
