Do you turn right on red lights???????

I stopped long time ago cause i got tickets a few times back in the day the cops always jump out of nowhere also they hide in the best places

If it is allowed...

WiredGuy 02-02-2009 04:51 PM

Are you allowed to in NY? In Ontario you are, but I know Montreal/Quebec you are not.

One of my ex-girlfriends from way back had a red light:)

Basically when her parents went to bed she would turn it on and I would sneak in:)

BusterBunny 02-02-2009 04:52 PM

yes after a complete stop and if allowed as the blingmeister said

After Shock Media 02-02-2009 04:52 PM

Unless signs say not to and of course it is safe to do it.

CrkMStanz 02-02-2009 04:52 PM

Yes, because it is allowed here :)

I can also turn left on a red from a one-way to a one-way, legally. Barring any sign to the contrary.

But here, pedestrians are gods, I worry more about that

in the city and sorroundings boroughs you cant , nassau and suffolk county you are allowed unless it says you cant

BV 02-02-2009 04:57 PM

right on red really saves a lot of fuel

in fact UPS and FedEx map out their drivers routes where they have no Left turns.

seeandsee 02-02-2009 05:00 PM

no cops for me :)

Penthouse Tony 02-02-2009 05:01 PM

It's allowed in California unless a sign says no.

Sosa 02-02-2009 05:01 PM

Around here you can almost every stop

Iron Fist 02-02-2009 05:09 PM

Not during rush hour.... :)

UFGators2007 02-02-2009 05:35 PM

I roll to a complete stop, check both directions and my mirrors, and then I floor it.

MandyBlake 02-02-2009 06:42 PM

if i legally can and if no cars are coming.

Spunky 02-02-2009 06:48 PM

It's common practice as I see it all the time

I wish more fucktards in Ontario knew turning left on a red from a one-way to another one-way was legal.

Would sure save some time...

baddog 02-02-2009 07:53 PM

You had better turn or suffer the wrath of all around you.

MetaMan 02-02-2009 07:54 PM

i will turn left on a red light i just dont give a fuck.

uno 02-02-2009 08:06 PM

You can turn right on red almost anywhere in joisey unless there's a sign saying no.

Poindexterity 02-02-2009 11:44 PM

not only that, but i turn left on red
if im going from a one way street
to a one way street.

SordidShawn 02-02-2009 11:48 PM

Unless I plan on going straight. Then, I make four left turns.

i think you're supposed to turn on red unless otherwise posted. ß

bbm 02-03-2009 02:51 AM

no, thanks :)

JD 02-03-2009 02:54 AM

totally legal in WA :D

tranza 02-03-2009 05:33 AM

You MUST turn right, I think...

Sid70 02-03-2009 05:47 AM

we have traffic lights equipped with green arrows pointing right, so if there is a such arrow and its red you can turn right but must give way to main road traffic. But its not obligatory, tho if u stop you'd hear others who want turning honking at ya :)

ExLust 02-03-2009 05:52 AM

If it is turn right.
