I stopped long time ago cause i got tickets a few times back in the day the cops always jump out of nowhere also they hide in the best places

Are you allowed to in NY? In Ontario you are, but I know Montreal/Quebec you are not.

You can turn right on red almost anywhere in joisey unless there's a sign saying no.

You MUST turn right, I think...

we have traffic lights equipped with green arrows pointing right, so if there is a such arrow and its red you can turn right but must give way to main road traffic. But its not obligatory, tho if u stop you'd hear others who want turning honking at ya :)
