Anyone doing Remote check deposits?? help..

hey i have a bank of america business acct, and ive called them numerous times about a remote check deposit solution and for some reason they dont have more info.. they just keep saying someone will call me back..

Are any of you remotely depositing checks to your bank account? how?

Im asking cause im spending 80% of my time outside USA and would like a way to just scan the affiliate checks i receive... instead of making a trip to the bank..

I have Wells Fargo and I started asking about this a year ago and was also getting the run around saying someone would get back to me. Recently I have been hearing ads for Citibank business accounts offering the check scanner free, so I thought maybe this was getting to be more a regular service. I checked with Wells Fargo again, this time they have all the info. Seems its tied to your merchant services. They want $400+ for the scanner or monthy lease of $35 something. Plus, it a per check fee and a percentage just like the merchant account. I thought it was kinda of expensive.

Yeah that's the same with Wachovia. I mail in checks tho, with absolutely no problems for the last 10 years. Takes about 5 days for them to receive them from Europe and they're available instantly. So no way am I going to waste $400 on a check scanner.
