I'm having a problem with Pidgin not letting me delete contact groups, anyone else having this problem? Did you fix it? How?

I used to have a ton of problems with older versions of pidgeon. the most recent release seems to be stable thus far.

pidgin works good for the most part, I do have issues with my accounts that have 300+ contacts occasionally

I'm having the same problem.

And the search feature isn't working for me anymore.

i just tested and it allows me to delete groups. what version are you on

Most up to date version, it deletes them, but after an hour or 2 they show back up.

Try going into the original IM client and deleteing the groups there... IMO... just a thought,.

I really don't want to have to download and install icq/aim/msn and yahoo just to delete 2 groups...

I resolved that problem by installing miranda ;)

Pidgin is far more superior than Miranda. Pidgin is what GAIM used to be.
