For me dog to big, it will eat my smaller rat dog who would annoy it.
Also as a side note - HOLY SHIT 3k puppies? Please say they fart gold dust.

Strong Bones, Correct, show winning, healthy, awesome hip scores. Our line is the biggest winning Corso's in the ICCF history and soon to be AKC(just got accepted in July 08). Key word is healthy.

If he's being destructive it means he needs more exercise.. If you can't take him out for a run, I highly suggest finding someone with a treadmill and running him on that for 30-40 minutes a day MINIMUM. THe destruction stops when their excess energy is drained :) I run both my dogs on the treadmill and they LOVE it, not to mention they haven't destroyed anything but rawhyde bones in 2 years now that I've gotten them into the routine.

Cages make the problem worse and increase the sense of frustration the dog feels. Any kind of working class or big energetic dog MUST have their energy drained, or they aren't obedient nor will they even listen to you. It's almost exactly like having children, keep them cooped up with nothing to do for a little whilel and they go mental and explode. I find that smarter dogs need the stimulation of exercise even more, as it can be mentally challenging as well as physically.

you can draw your own opinion on kennels, but my 60lb german shepherd/husky loved her kennel. I run the hell out of her in the dog park, she's well exercised, still loves that kennel. I have been breaking her of it for a while when she's home alone, and usually doesn't fuck anything up.

kennel training does do wonders. it's like a den, they feel safe inside of one

I agree with crate training for sure, it gives the dog a secure place it feels nobody else can go. But exercise is definitely key. It will cure most anxiety, boredom, destruction, howling problems. If you still have problems after the crate and the exercise are taken care of, then it's time for some behaviour work.
