32,000th post a milestone? no not at all.

Yes it really means nothing more than any other post. Just goes to show that I have managed to make about 11 posts a day since I have registered here. Yippee somewhere around .223% of the total posts around here, OK probably a tad less I made a rough estimate. Isn't that some accomplishment? :1orglaugh

I did not actually spend any time pondering what to post though. I shut the laptop after my previous post and got ready for my massage that I had scheduled. Now that I am totally relaxed I came back here to get stressed again.

Someone spoke of a recipe eh. Been kind of obsessed with "Pampaganang Espesyal" lately or condiments as I suppose the rest of us call them. Things that you bring out that make foods that much more special and better. Saw someone (fletch I think) mention Sriracha earlier and that indeed qualifies. I personally now have a large tray of assorted condiments that sits on the table along with another tray from the fridge that gets pulled out as not everything is safe to leave on the table.
So here is one:
Bunch of radishes sliced thin (can substitute onions or even carrots if you wish).
3/4 cup vinegar (I like white in this application).
2-3 tablespoons sugar.
Pinch of salt.
1-2 hot chili peppers split into 4 while keeping it attached near stem.
Bay leaf.
5 or so barely cracked peppercorns.
*5 allspice berries.
*5 whole cloves.
*1/2 tsp. mustard seeds.
* = optional and can mix and match.
Add vinegar, sugar, salt, chili, and seasonings to a saucepan and bring to boil. Add your vegetable, lower heat and let cook about 30-45 seconds (less time for onions). Let it all cool. Add everything to a clean jar and refrigerate. Can last a few months in there but we never have had them last that long.

So what are some of your favorite condiments? Do you also have a tray of set items?

Thanks, forgot that the word itself comes from the Philippines. I just always liked it better than condiments.

I honestly wish it was only 22 minutes a day. :1orglaugh
I do type fast, however I am also very prone to making super long posts and it is pretty rare for me to make a one liner. Often I will type at least a paragraph. Good news is that indeed it only takes a couple of minutes maximum to make such a post.

Now I am curious since you brought it up.
22 x 365 =8030 x 8 (technically a month or so less) = 64240 / 60 = 1070.66 (1071) /24 = 44.58 days of my life. :Oh crap

To be fair though and make me feel better about it. When I do post here I am usually doing something else work wise in the background at least half of the time if not most of the time. I am sure like many others, you just hop back and forth between tabs or windows. Example being I am currently uploading right now and I did not log into gfy today until about 3pm - even though I been working since around 10am.

Oh well, pretty sure there are many with much less posts that due to lurking and reading that have as much if not much more time spent - I hope.
