Wireless phone charger?
Anyone have one of those wireless chargers? If so, who makes it?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's a pad that charges your phone just by putting your phone down on it. No wires to connect to your phone. |
Never heard of that gizmo Joe ....
So what powers it to make a charge ? battery ? and if so wouldnt a spare battery be a better option. Not trying to be a smart ass, just trying to figure if l should get one and how it works . |

My brother works for the company that is actually developing wireless tech for all kinds of stuff. They have a whole lab devoted to it. There's an entire kitchen setup with multiple appliances that all use the juice straight, no batteries to charge. This stuff isn't released publicly yet, of course, but it will be in the near future. Their tech is just built into counter tops and such so essentially you will just be able to toss your cell phone on the counter and it will charge.
