Choosing a niche
 

Ive been dabbling in this adult web stuff for a couple of years now, have learned some things, made a little money with various affiliate programs. I got bored with that, and decided to try something else. Several years ago I took up photography as a hobby, and while I don't consider myself a pro by any means, I have learned enough about the craft to produce work that I find satisfactory. So I thought I would try my hand at producing content. I have sold some stuff to small sites, improved my skills to were large sites were interested in my work, but the problem is, where I live - Montana - models can be hard to find, and nude models even more so. (not impossible by any means, they are just usually far away and/or not interested in nude projects)And when I do find them, they are usually not right for whoever is interested at the moment.
So Ive given it some thought, and would like to try something along the lines of non-nude, so that I might make use of the models that are available. But just taking pretty pictures of sexy women isn't going to be enough, I know I need to find a niche. Ive looked at a lot of sites that have non nude content, and aside from 18 year old girls and their NN sites, most everything else seems to be fetish related.
any suggestions on one to pursue? I think I'm leaning towards ones that aren't likely to turn the girls off. Personally, I am a leg man, and I like skirts, boy shorts, etc, and was thinking about going that route, but there are a ton of sites out there like that. Ideally Id like to find something fun and friendly that has a decent chance of doing well. I don't want to get rich(honestly, all I want is to be able to pay for my camera great)

One of the best ways to chose a niche is to look at what you like. Implied nudity can go a long way, and there is always call for it. But you need to be damn good. Even though you are thinking of shooting NN you will still need to grab 2257 papers, as a lot of people will not purchase the sets to use on a nude site, unless you have them. More of a cover your ass thing than anything.

Think Lingerie, and bikini, construction, and lots of outdoors stuff. If you have local car shows then girls in bikinis can always make money. You just hire the girls out to the show, and take photos as you go.

I understand about still getting everything required for 2257.
the non-nude stuff I am considering, rather than selling the content to another site, I think I would just run my own site with it. the work I put into finding content buyers etc, I think could just as easily be put into driving traffic to a small site of my own. which is why I was wanting to focus on one niche, or maybe a few.
I was also considering doing in in a clips4sale type format, rather than having a members area.

I don't think the niche really matters because there is a demand out there for just about any niche. Do something that you like yourself...and promote the hell out of it. When I started my paysite, I chose one of the most oversaturated niches ever used (the amateur niche) and my site does great.

What do you think about mixing nude and non nude? like maybe a leg site that has both nude and non nude/implied?

my guess is it'll be damn hard to get someone to pay for NN content...

if you can't shoot your own content, you'll hafta source it from somewhere.

that was my thought for a while to, but there are alot of nn sites out there that do well, and alot of niche/fetish sites that are nn and do well to. My guess is it will almost have to be fetish oriented to work as nn or even partial nn.

If I were you, I would go with one or the other...but not both on the same site.
