What Nikon body does your friend have? Although, all my Nikon lenses are autofocus they can be set to full manual (focus and aperture), full auto, or a combination of both. I have the following for sale:
Nikon 35-70mm f/2.8D AF Zoom
Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF Zoom
Nikon 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro
