Well got the love letter from Verotel
 
We owe them $1089 dollars. I have to call them I have questions.Did the sign ups not happen? if they did then me giving them back that money is my giving my product away.A side note is we did very little with verotel maybe 10 sign ups a month and to get that number.hmmm

the more I think about it ... there have been the odd scam from people trying to use Verotel ... I received an email requesting me to update my user/pass info about 8 months ago .. checked and it turned out to be fraud .. .. you should double check via phone with Joost ..

Do you see any sort of notification when you log into the Verotel CP? AFAIK I haven't received "the" email yet but I'm wondering if I've missed it.

BTW, one of my affiliates had her account suspended because one of her sales charged back after she received a payment... Verotel wanted her to pay the difference before they'd re-enable the account. Right!

I think it's a bit of a stretch to consider this may lead to a processor folding, but what is fairly certain is that there's going to be a lot of pissed off merchants. :2 cents:

If they did am I just giving my product away?
Why did it take 12 months to find ? Verotel's job is to process and keep track of money.
We did in 2008 $1347 of direct debit and they want most of it back.

Hey I am in the same boat with Verotel!!! I stoped recieving payouts from them this year, shortly after I log into my admin and discover that some how I owe them Hundreds of dollars for an unpaid invoice!!!!

No thats not how it works, you guys process transactions for me and then you forward me the funds minus your fees.

I have telephoned them several times.... no call back, I have emailed them as well no response... Will be pulling their join buttons if I don't hear back from them today!

Starting to get fed up with the B.S. that is going on here. It is quite obvious that many companies are upside down with mal investment and this tanking global economy and are getting creative with their fundraising.

I am seeing this trend with processors, with banks, all kinds of funny business going on with different accounts!

Something is very very wrong.... this is starting to sound like just some wild cash grab.
Has anyone gotten actual accounting data to confirm any of these claims they've made or are they just throwing numbers at people out of a hat?

Why not? I have had them for years without one issue. I always ask myself why the fuck do people think CCBIll is God. I have had plenty of issues with CCBill and so have many other people. :2 cents:

I just logged into my Verotel account, but I didn't see any announcements.

I do not offer an affiliate program through them however, so I guess this issue does not apply to me.

For the record, they've been pretty solid (for me) over the past few years, so this is not good. Hopefully they survive the fallout...

Has anyone asked Verotel to supply documentation to back up their claim of not being paid?

You would think they would be sending out registered mail to notify you instead on an email.

Hey Verotel is not answering calls or emails, so sometimes that is all the answer you need from a company, with all of these threads and complaints you would think someone from the company would have started a thread by now.

Considering how difficult it is to get affiliates to use Verotel in the first place that would be a huge fail.

Well I sent them a email to Sarah I guess she is our contact. Before they get a dime I need a full accounting of each transaction. We did $1300 and change with their direct debit and they are saying we owe $1089. So that means most of it never went thru and someone was asleep at the switch.Does this mean $1089 worth of memberships got free access to my product? That why we pay them to process and watch over the money. I will let you know their response.

12 months over that time we did $1300 and change and they want $1089 of it back.if I got over paid it sucks but its their money but I need a full accounting.Also I need to know what they are doing to make sure this doesnt happen again.

I got an email last week saying that I owed them over 600 bucks also... they said that can take it from my holdback to cover it but I want some details before I give them the ok to take it!!!

I think their hours are 9:00 to 5:00 mon-fri - Central European Time.

They are 5 hours ahead of EST - so if you are on the east coast of the US like me (for example) you would have to call them between 4:00 am and noon. Roll those hours back 3 hours if you are on the west coast, etc.

Thanks for pointing out the operating hours of Verotel, however I am already aware of them, I got thru to one person about a month ago who took my name, number, and info and said he could not answer questions about "unpaid invoices" and would have the appropiate department head return my call within 24 hours. Of course that call has yet to come.
Besides it shouldn't matter what there office hours are when you send multiple emails regarding this matter. Still No response. Well that settles it for me, bye bye verotel, let me go yank the join buttons.

I sincerely hope everyone gets the funds they are owed, but looking at adult processing history....Ibill,Paymonde,ecommerceglobal,etc. all I can say is best of luck!
