I'm getting new flourescent lamps...what kelvin bulbs should I get???
 

I'm getting a some new flourescent lamps that I'm going to use for both video and still images and I have a choice of 6500K and 5000K on the bulbs.

Which would be the best to get?

5000K is approximately soft daylight so I think that would work nicely. If this year doesnt blow up I want to go to flos. Im tired of baking under hot lights.

i went with the 5000 kelvin fluorescent years ago.. never looked back.
i remember shooting b/g scenes some years ago, summer time in Pasadena in a condo, we had to turn of the a/c off as the sound could not be on the video.. damn that place got pretty smelly.. talk about tuna.

or 20k or 420 nm actinic 03
