What sub-niche within alt is HOT?
 

Girlfriend of mine wants to start a site. She is tattooed and body type would fit the alt niche well but she'd like to know what area is best to focus on right now. The goth look, the raver look, the punk look, etc.

what do you think?

btw I should clarify b/c I guess it makes a difference to the subniche. She is thin with natural small bs

She is more punk thank anything in her own personal stylings but a little change of hair style and makeup can put her in goth or raver really easily. She is just wondering if one area sells better than another. But if not, for simplicity's sake she will probably just wear her hair/makeup as she does everyday.

forgive me as I know nothing about this but isn't it expensive to get the costumes made? Does it convert well enough to cover such an expense for only one set of photos?

You can buy a lot of costumes ready made from Halloween stores and eBay if need be. I don't have the link anymore, but for example I saw a really good Invisible Woman costume for like $30.

And from my experience the demand is pretty high, because not nearly enough girls do it.

Why not just do different sets with each subniche and if you feel it necessary make multiple tours based on each subniche and see how they do?

Pics would help but from what you described I would suggest "punk" but you could probably flirt with many different alt-niches

I'm not going to post her pics without her permission. She's not my model, it's a good friend of mine, she can register here herself once she gets going.

I would make a dozen sites around that niche if only I could find enough content to stock them with it... i'm absolutely serious. That niche is awesome. :thumbsup
