seriously. with OSX all I had to do was click file>close (cmd+W) and it closes that window. im guessing with windows there's no way to close it without shutting down the browser via TM?

And your OSX isn't uber elite or anything. That script is build to fuck with IE and FF, not OSX.

Quick fix without losing your windows:

watch where your x is on your tab, or the window itself, put your mouse there and when the window crosses over it, hit it quickly, will cause the popup, then hold enter down until window/tab closes.

You win, they lose.

Alt + F4 then click OK on a few popup boxes closes it

I was using FF. But yes, I'd still say it's "uber elite". As there is no web script that can do the same for OSX. OSX doesn't run like windows does, you always have the menu available at all times for every application - no matter what stupid error/warning message pops up.
