Anyone Else Get Ripped off by Jay- ?
 

From the Sell and Buy Forum, Some users suggeted posting it here to alert anyone interested in dealing with this guy to not send him any money.

I was the buyer on DP forum, paid him $1,500 for nulled script. He has been selling sites with scripts on lots of boards, If you bought one from him, check the license with the Original site that sells the script.
He will give you some lame excuse why he owns the script like this:

"I spoke to a lawyer.
you bought the site with a license, the license was good as I ran the site for 8 months without problems.
I sent you the license for the site which I can show through email."

Jay will send you a number, call it a site license and claim the site is legal. Doesn't work that way Jay. Running an illegal script for 8 months without getting caught does not make it a legal script.

Additionally he did not have to remove all his websites, just the one

If he had a valid license the website would not be taken down, all he had to
do was provide it to us.

If he wants to contact us we can tell him the same thing.

I would advise you try to get your money back as you paid for basically
nothing.

Nulled meens removing the callbacks and so forth from the script so the developers don't know your using it unless someone reports it.

So you bought a hacked script and now are crying you got ripped off?

He didnt know it was a hack script. The guy that sold him the script ask me about 7 months ago can he get a copy of the script I was using, I didnt answer the private message over at DP, then I notice he was pushing the same script and I knew he didnt pay for it. He out right lied and said it was a legal copy of the script

I would like to see what Jay has to say about all this shit...I remember some dude who caught Jay with stolen content on fuzzfest aswell...( Or did I recall that wrong? )

Yes, script was stolen for sure. The domain never had a script registered to it.
I can not say what Jay did or did not know when he bought it. What I do know, is that he told me it had a legal script and he showed me a number to prove it.
As was pointed out, my rookie move was to accept that number as proof and pay Jay before contacting Adultwatch.
Jay should have made it right by paying for a new script, but he would not. He returned $40 as he didn't have any money to pay the whole $200. He said, " I owe you $160." Jay never paid that and then threatened to sue me for having all his sites taken off his servers and him losing some sites because of it. No idea how I am liable for what his host made him do.
In the meantime, I can't switch name servers to the site as the script was illegal. I would have had the server company contacted by AdultWatch and I would have been screwed. Well doubly screwed. :1orglaugh

Live and learn. Lesson here is to check before you buy something and not assume someones previous good feedback would prevent them from ripping you off. Oh yeah, other lesson here is DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH JAY! :mad:

This is not Jayxxx or Jay23 (me). Darn...did not know another Jay was also in the script business.

No, this was just Jay- here on GFY and -Jay- on DP. He has a few other nicks he uses. He is not in the script business, he sells penis enlargement oil at the moment.
