Happy Mardi Gras 2009
 

Well, it's Sunday morning and the party hasnt stopped for the past two weeks.

The party dont stop, been 24 hours with parades every day for days now...

Anyway just wanted to drop in and say Happy Mardi gras 2009 because i am stepping out for awhile!

Ill post pics, its gonna be a long few days ahead!!! This is one of the longest party weekends in America. Mardi gras is like 3 weeks long, but this weekend the party hits peak from Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Fat Tuesday! Streets are cleaned and public is bulldozed out at midnight.

the bars then get overpacked and firemarshalls make people leave. But until then, cheeers motherfuckerssss!!!!!!

I have attended Mardi Gras for the previous 4yrs and am delighted to say that I am not there this year. LOL Dont get me wrong, it is an awesome event but when shooting content it is a lot of work carrying beads, charging camera batteries and fighting the crowds. I hope that you are having fun tho Fletch and look forward to the pics you post later. In the meantime, take care and have a hand grenade for me ;) hehehe
