How to download a site?
 

I basically need to download a website... I know there are some plug-ins that let you easily do this, some sort of Ripper? Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Some fucker was using that to download my sites and had overridden the 2-download thread limit and was beating down one of the web servers. I wrote something to block it permanently in 2 minutes. Good times.

Do you mean your members section? Check out Strong Box.

I'm aware of Strong Box's anti-slurp superpowers -- I have something that monitors all logs already in place-- so plugging in something to listen for naughty bulk downloaders was pretty easy.

for whatever you want it give a try to "download them all" plugin for mozilla, it store cookie, then you just make, using textpad and macro, page with all links you want to download and here you go ... there is no security that can bypass this ... :winkwink:
