Plugin Directory in Wordpress Indexed in Google
Recently and only recently my sites have been getting indexed WITH my entire plugin directory in word press.
I haven't changed much about the sites in question, except updating old plugins. What do you think the cause is? Has this happened to you? Thanks. |
you probably have directory listing on, which is generally a bad idea, and its your host who has it setup this way.
I would put a index.html in your wp-content/plugins/ directory or edit your .htaccess and add Options -Indexes and also another way is to add to your robots.txt Disallow: /wp-* |
No Need to deal a lot, Just put an index.html to Your plugin directory or Use the latest version, Then You'll be fine.

Great, thanks a lot!
