Hawaii: First impressions.
 

I have found the one place in the world that has better weather than us. Unbelievably nice.

Yes Hawaii is the only competitor to Cali :-) enjoy!

It is nice. Parking sucks, but better than most hotels of this caliber. We heave a bike rented for tomorrow so will be out exploring. Will see you tomorrow evening.

yeah always loved the Socal weather. DRY, Santa Anna Winds, Dusty, cold enough to keep the water cold year round.

Maui weather can't be beat. Can't wait to go back next month.

To be honest, when you live in CA there is no need to go to Hawaii. Besides, it is a very wet ride from LA - Maui.

I don't think I have seen a lei since I got here.

last time we went to Kauai we stayed at this HUGE house at the top of a cliff, and the cliff had stairs on it that went down to our own private beach....the house was SO huge, had windows around the entire outside of it, but it was totally private, so we were naked the whole time...people walked by us on the beach and they were naked too.....it was just really nice being in the place that wasn't labeled a "nude beach", and no one had any quams about us being naked in public
everyone is SO laid back there and open to everyone, nothing phases them and they are so loving

To be honest, they haven't exactly been overwhelming. There was a cute one we ate with at dinner but I did not think her date was comfortable enough for me to ask to take her picture. But she was about the only "hot" chick I have seen.

She would have gone for it for sure.
