FACT: if you let your kid star in a commercial you are selling their soul

nothing says i love you more then giving your brat away to some corporation for use in media for rent money.

you know those same corporations competing for your childs innocent mind and turning them into a limitless consumer full of needs and wants and teaching them never to be happy and always wanting more? O YA THOSE CORPORATIONS

"mommy can i go out and play"
"no sweetheart you have to stay inside and read your lines because mommy had to pop you out in my mid 20s to trap your daddy and never got my body back so i am living my fame through you"

nothing says I LOVE YOU more than teaching your kid acting cute to sell a product is OK. then when your daughter grows up and is banging the negro down the street who is 3 years older then her you will have yourself to blame.

:warning

If the parent puts the stuff into the college found I figure it's acceptable. If they take over the money then no.

My dad had me wear a fucking liberal party shirt when I was 6th and had me play with a kid with a fleur de lys shirt for a political ad campaign in the newspaper.

To this day I will never forget him for this ;-)

Good point.I don't have friends with star kids...

LadyMischief 02-26-2009 06:57 AM

The parents that push their kids hard to do that kind of stuff are assholes. The ones who allow the child to have fun and maintain the spirit of fun and not push them, it can be a great experience. I have modelling agencies chasing me for my daugthers but that's really not the life I want for my girls.
