Twan - is a cheater
This guy, owner of sensualwriter.com, adultwebmastergroup.com and other resources - cheater. He is a bad guy and I advice you to not work with him.
He blocked my blogs (20+) on sensualwriter.com (but I followed his rules). And he don't tell me any reason. He deleted my questions about it on his forum, said me to go to PM where he told me to email him, then he closed the threads (without problem-solving) and don't answer emails. More then month I tried to resolve this problem on his forum and around it. Twan, you not the man! |
His name should have been the first tip off. Who the fuck is named Twan?!
|
Oh snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap yoooooooooooo!
|
Twan....Twan......
The name's not ringing any bells. Sorry. |
Just googled the name, this is the first thing that came up

so what are you saying?

you should not put any faith for reliability into a free service. twan provides his "free" webmaster services because he profits from them one way or another. if he feels like axing your shit, that's his business, for whatever reason it may be.
moral of the story. freehosted blogs have a purpose, and they can be very useful in your overall gameplan. but if they are at the core of your network and you are in a position where the loss of some freehosted blogs is enough to make you break down and cry, maybe you need to re-evaluate your setup. freehosted blogs should be considered disposable. |
cry me a fucking river....
quit your fucking pissing and moaning and move on |
Almost the same scenario happened to me after I got banned for writing a script for me to centralize my link trades on his network. Feeling this to be unfair as what I was doing wasn't resource intensive unless the servers were p90's with 16 megs of ram, is what prompted me to start www.waqn.com. No offense to Twan or anyone associated with his sites/services. I didn't agree with his decision, so I did something about it - something positive. Now we've got almost 800 blogs hosted, and so far no complaints and I'm more than happy to have the webmasters using the service that I do. And for the record, $0 has been made since the opening of the service. The ads up top hardly get any sexy time from surfers. I gotta run, but long story short - find a positive way to turn this around for yourself and maybe help others in the process. =)

That sux but it would be nice to see the blogs.

sucks for you

I have usual blogs. And main problem - he don't answer my question "why they was blocked?". He talk to me, but don't say the reason. I didn't break rules... My be they used a lot of RAM or smth. and he blocked them and don't tell me why cause its not my fault.

Since nobody ever says what they were doing to get them banned, and people who have been banned accidentally seem to have their blogs returned (according to the support forum threads), we can only assume that they were in violation of one of the terms of service. This thread for example, has 3 people mention they got their accounts deleted, one was using a 'script' to check links (or whatever), another had over 70 blogs (obviously splogs) and the other hasn't given us enough info. So one is running a script on a domain/server that isnt his, and certainly wasn't allowed too, another (yourself) was running a network of splogs (were they all rss fed shit? not talking shit, im asking), and another is being vague about it, playing innocent (go figure). Just the info the people in this thread divulged about what they were doing makes me skeptical about any "cheating" on twans behalf. Sounds more to me like you all were doing something that he didn't like. And I've seen a shit-ton of thumbloggers, and not all of them the best quality blogs, I would imagine it would be pretty cut and dry about why they were banned. |

can't you afford to spend $50 on a dedicated server? |

I host about 300 of my own sites, I have quite a few blogs that I don't host |
Twan has a very good reputation in this business is is hardly a newbie. Did you call him out on NP where he post and does a ton of business? Probably not because you would get buried over there for that. I assume you called him out over here because he does not post here much. Likely if he banned your blogs it is because they were loading exploits or popup chains or worse. Anyway I suggest you take this nonsense over there and see how it plays.

NP is full of self-absorbed overly righteous fuckwits . That about sums it up. It's most "respected" members are some of the most pretentious pricks Ive ever seen on a forum. I wouldn't say the experience or the content is any more quality than anywhere else, but boy do they like to talk it up like it is. All anyone seems to do over there is autoblog. Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
|
DJ, thumblogger can be very useful for certain things that I am not gonna mention, I use it very frequently and It's hardly because I can't afford a domain and server....
|
:2 cents:
Twan is one of the good guys, if he booted you he had just reason. Thumblogger isn't intended to be the "end all be all". As Nicky just mentioned, it has value for people who know how and when to use it. |
