what ftp software do you use/recommend?
 

I usally use flashfxp, but I dont have access to the email where I paid for a key.

Currently Im using filezilla.

Curious what else is out there

i use coreftp

Transmit if you are on a Mac.

filezilla for standard transfers...

winscp for secure of ssh...

fireftp for super quick one off files...

Filezilla does sftp also.

Disregard my recommendation, looks like the one you listed is Windows...

FlashFXP when I'm in Windows.

I also use FireFTP if I'm in a hurry and working in Firefox.

True... but I personally can't get it to work with my saved ssh sessions and secure keys in putty... probably just need to keep playing with it.

i use WinSCP best app in my opinion and its free http://winscp.net/eng/index.php works well with putty for SSH connections too
also the standalone exe version works well on a USB key too

with filezilla can you have more than one ftp connection open at once? like tabs

I use SmartFTP Pro.. which has tabs.. it's pretty sweet. If you decide to download it let me know and I can tell you a few things about it.

Transmit on OS X and FlashFXP on Windows pc's.

FireFTP and windows FTP - yes the ftp command at the dos prompt. Use it in a batch script for repeatative uploads

Cute FTP Pro for me...does just what I need it to do.

Always use an older version of WS_FTP. I have a version of WS_FTP Pro that I use occasionally too. But for some reason I like the interface on the non pro version better.

I use wsftp pro. Got it for free with html software and never had a reason to change.

They sent me the code to the new email, this would have been the 3rd copy I have registered.

another vote for transmit on the mac.
