I had one as a pet when I was a kid. Then as an adult I read a magazine article about the NYC rat problem and stories from the people that try to control them. I had no idea that rats will eat all the flesh of people's fingers and ears and stuff while they are lying in bed, still alive. Babies and the elderly are especially at risk. I have a kind of irrational fear of midgets (small people), i mean i dont run away screaming or anything but there's something about small hands that freak me out, baby hands do it to me too.... :O
I don't think I'd ever have kids of my own.

If i ever saw somebody with ass-worms I'd probably be pretty mortified (please no pics! even if they do exist on the net). Don't think there's anything that actually makes me have a panic attack though....
