Bank accounts may no longer be insured
Since the other thread title does not accurately depict what is going to happen.

This isnt doom and gloom predictions this is a real possibility, at best the FDIC would have to use taxpayer money to fund the insurance. Let me say this again, the FDIC will use YOUR money to protect YOUR money in bank accounts. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
Well that's kind of obvious.. If there is ever a run on the banks, they would never have enough money to cover. At that point the dollar would be worthless, so it would be a moot point anyway.

FDIC has a "full faith and credit" agreement with the government. So to say your account is no longer insured is misleading and wrong.

The title is not wrong at all, you are just blind. |
Banks are so 2008. Hiding it under your mattress is where it's at!

The FDIC is fine if only a few banks fail... If theres a complete meltdown of the banking system, you can forget about your money... One, the FDIC wont have the money, two, using tax dollars to pay yourself back is non-sense, three, if the US economy has collapsed, printing the money to pay everyone back will literally kill the dollar and will give your $100,000 the value of toilet paper :2 cents:

Insert <Epic FAIL> picture. Thanks please proceed to regular posting schedule.

In that case I would have the bank manager catch rabbits for me and milk my cows while I do his wife.
That sounds fair doesn't it ? |

What would you hide under there if it were ever to happen, god forbid ? |
*YAWN*
Doesn't this troll ever get tired? The bank accounts are insured by the people who have the keys to the printing press. There is absolutely zero chance that depositors will no be made whole in the event of a bank failure or a run on the banks. Period. The End. Case Closed. Move On. |
You guys are so negative. Look on the bright side: alot of welfare mothers got money to have lots of babies, we acted as Mexico's relief agency, and alot of poor people got mortgages.
Who cares what it cost? |

The more we allow the government to keep cranking out money from the FED the worse things are going to get. I don't understand why people don't get that. Forget about rising taxes, we have allowed our Government to straddle us with an 1.6 trillion dollar debt to heap on top of our taxes, seems we might allow them to nationalize the banks (when centralizing them under the FED was bad enough), allowed them to buy controlling interest in these large lending institutions (WHILE WE PICK UP THE DEBT), allowed them to create a chokehold on our civil liberties and freedoms in the Patriot Act, allowed them to keep us under an umbrella of terrorism brought to you by the media, and now we might stand here and watch our money at risk with no protection from the FDIC. When is enough enough? With the way people are these day, I can guarantee when it is to damn late to do anything about it. :2 cents: |

The southern states seceded from the rest of the US and lost many people because they didn't agree with the government. Our founding fathers and thousands of their fellow countrymen risked and lost their lives breaking away from the British government. They stood up for what they believed in. YOU and others like you only bitch and don't have the courage to take one for the team. I'm so glad you think bitching on porn industry message board is some sort of accomplishment. |

Aren't you the one who doesn't believe in owning firearms? And you got the balls to tell ME what those before us have been willing to sacrifice for the greater good. I AM armed and I am not afraid to say when the time comes I will gladly take a bullet or die defending what I believe in. I guess my number would be up quick if they try to take those away. And show we WHERE I demanded others to do something about it, shit stain. I don't care what other people do or don't do. I mind MY business instead of the business of everyone else. Maybe you should do the same. I have already made sacrifices? Have you? You served your country, your state, your city? Anybody other than yourself? Fuck off you self-righteous know it all prick. Welcome to my number 2 spot on my ignore list. |

Just because you want to jump to his defense, don't but words and thoughts to my posts that aren't there. I am probably just as glad as you that Bush is gone, even though I didn't vote for Obama. |
