Been a good while since I have seen a half decent sci-fi film. That's on my todo list. :)

Battlestar >>>>>> ST. Star trek is so played out, too focused on the same characters, instead of trying to tell a great story. Also it's unrealistic, key roles are not allowed to die.

i agree they need to tell more stories in star trek...telling the klingon war would be good...i suspect this is some of that....kirk helped defeat the klingons right?

Luckily Ive never seen that show so he should fill the role nicely as an unknown. For some reason when unknowns play parts in movies like this it makes it so much better.

The latest Star Trek series with the guy from Quantum Leap ruined it for me because I couldnt get past his goofy face and acting.

Yeah, the dude who played Sylar's one of the reasons I'm checking out this movie. Too bad about "Heroes" though. Stories are all fucked now. Nothing like the first season.
