Obama serves soup to "homeless"

Quote:

Michelle Obama's introduction-to-Washington tour took her today to a soup kitchen, where she surprised about 50 homeless men and women by scooping mushroom risotto for lunch.

Great pic. Funny thing is could you imagine any of the Bush wives doing any manual labor? or being in the same room as a homeless black man for that matter.

You get all your news from Huffington I guess.

Quote:

During her first week in the White House, Barbara Bush brought national attention to the needs of indigent and homeless families by making a visit to "Martha's Table" an inner-city center providing meals for poor families and daytime and after-school activities for homeless children, and also running a mobile soup-and-sandwich kitchen through the streets of Washington. She donated her family's used clothing to thrift stores which raised money for charitable organizations and also offered low-cost resale to the needy. Often visiting homeless family shelters, Barbara Bush also publicly raised an issue that was rarely considered in coping with the problem - abandoned, single, unmarried mothers, many of them teenagers, who were receiving no help from the fathers of the children. Although she assumed the traditional view of the Republican Party that social programs were best funded and administered by private charities and organizations rather than by the government, she was not averse to claiming government responsibility in some cases, once remarking at a center for homeless children, "forget about government cutbacks."

Are you this fucking clueless. Lol, she's cfr Chicago, she's still nothing like you. You think she would be doing this on her own initiative, if she weren't pres. wife. It's not like she came up with a real plan that would try to help the homeless get a room somewhere. More homeless people + promoting Islam(sharia flavour) is pretty much what she works for in cfr. Do some research??????????!!!!!

shame on her ... "feeding the homeless" ... :1orglaugh what a total waste of life

Well, in all fairness . . . I think I did hear about a program in San Francisco where they gave cellphones to the homeless. Not sure if it lasted or if they are doing it elsewhere, so I guess we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions as to whether or not the young man is homeless or not. We can come to the conclusion that it was just a photo op though.

Nice chop by the way.

Bring it on Down To HomelessVille!

Diomed 03-09-2009 04:11 AM

Don't know why,

but it makes me think of Bush's Mom going to the superdome after Katrina and saying they probably like it here.. as it's probably nicer than where they have stayed before.

Exactly my point. I think there is a BIG difference between these two ladies as well as GWB Jr wife. Night and Day.
