I prefer something a little bit brutal to summon the mental and physical powers.

As for the past week mainly Pantera or Slayer and sometimes also old school AC DC.

trying to think of something you might not have heard before.... have you heard Pro-pain ?

good old hardcore, they have alot of good songs especially on The Truth Hurts and Foul Stench of Freedom:



(recording levels not the greatest on that guys youtube rip, but the two albums I mentioned above are good to have in their whole because the songs work well together one after another)

I like Morbid Angel, Deicide, Slayer, Malevolent Creation, At The Gates, Rotting Christ, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Death, Septic Flesh....and the list goes on and on. Of course, I listen to various bands all throughout the evening and day and not just in the morning.

Hell, I first started listening to Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Possessed (among other old school bands) back in the year of 1984 so I am a long term metal fan. But yeah, nothing like a good metal band to kick things off for you in the morning. :thumbsup

if you are into some absolute ripping high speed guitar thrash metal, Destruction were one of the greatest, their first couple of releases are must haves:
