Anyone else unable to login to ICQ?

I can't connect to ICQ, it started last night and I assumed it was a temporary glitch but it's still the same now. When I try to login it says it's connecting, then after a few seconds an error pops up saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again." And the flower in the System Tray goes white! Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?!

I don't know about the actual ICQ client, but pidgin told me it required an update to connect, so I'm guessing ICQ's changed something.

working fine here

Darkcrni 03-10-2009 07:06 AM

Working, but got this message ' Downloading new Ver of ICQ failed'
Hmm must be just me!

Mine just upgraded as well.

Doctor Feelgood 03-10-2009 03:12 PM

i thought it was downloading a virus so i cancelled the update.
why cant it ask first if you would like the update? geez

polish_aristocrat 03-10-2009 08:22 PM

happened to me as well

it was trying to connect, gave an "oops" message, and then tried to connect in 10 seconds or in... 30 minutes again

edit: i've done the update yesterday or so, so it should be working fine for me...
