These people have lived in a detention facility for the last 8 years and were held without charge.

They have no contact with the outside world. We can't talk to them. Now there is a so-called trial that nobody is allowed to observe, and all of the evidence is classified.

And their lawyer is just a marine.

So it doesn't really matter where these documents come from. If Bush wrote the document, well, nobody would understand what the hell he was saying. But if somebody from the DOJ wrote the document and said that the Defendant's filed it, we wouldn't be able to prove them wrong.

The Judge's order states that his order must be translated into Arabic and served upon the Defendants.

So have fun. In a year, gitmo will be closed. They will go to US jails where they will be held in worse conditions without being charged, and then randomly subjected to secret trials. But it will be different because gitmo is closed.
