funny thing I learned in a psychology course I took in college: in blind taste tests, Pepsi beat out Coke 3 to 2, but if people see the cans then Coke beats Pepsi to the same degree, and that's because Coke has superior ad campaigns and brand recognition :1orglaugh

The Domino's oven baked sandwiches are significantly better than Subway's. I was pleasantly surprised when I had to use them as a last resort.

Subway has little to worry about though as Domino's only offers three [or something like that] varieties.

As I was typing a response to this thread the commercial came on TV and i've never seen the commercial until reading this thread.

I gave up on Subway years ago when I went in to try some kind of "spicy chipotle" chicken sandwich, asked for double chipotle sauce and got something that tasted like dry cardboard. Even with double sauce they couldn't give it enough flavor to make it worth eating. Firehouse Subs and Pot Belly are both better than subway by miles, but I don't know if they have those everywhere.

I agree this kind of advertising is blatant defamation.
