Good story - thanks for the timely info!

I'm so glad the government has had the time, money and manpower to protect use from evil people delivering obscene materials. I'm it's not like we are fighting 2 wars, trying to stop terrorists or preventing drug wars form Mexico overflowing into our country or anything.

stever 03-11-2009 10:48 AM

In fact, just three videos were indicted - Forced Entry and Cocktails 2, both directed by Borden, and Extreme Teen 24

I found extreme teen 24 on hotmovies and it just seemed like a regular teen porn? not sure how this can be obscene

however I can't say the same for Cocktails 2

These chicks drink puke, cum, enema leftovers, and just about any other disturbing substance you can imagine. Here's something straight off the box:
Ingredients: 1 large bowl, a bunch of guys, lots of spit and beer (preferably stale), a dollop of man juice, bile, floor sweepings, a little vomit. Stir or shake or mix (or whatever). Have a filthy cunt drink it all down. Then have a bunch of other whores drink all kinds of stuff produced by humans. Enjoy! By the way is you need an excuse to break up with your chick? Buy this, pop it in, and let her walk in on you. She'll be screaming for the hills. Have fun!

damn thats pretty obscene

Just_Dave 03-11-2009 10:49 AM

that was a good read

Where the girls FORCED to do it or did they sign up for the job? How come all these sites showing 2 girls 1 cup aren't getting busted? These girls are eating shit and puke. I find movies like Saw and Hostel to be obscene. When are the charges being filed? Hell I found the whole 8 years of the Bush administration to be obscene.

seeric 03-11-2009 10:53 AM

What did we learn today kids?

DON'T FUCKING MAIL DVDS THROUGH THE POSTAL SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2002, an undercover U.S. Postal Service inspector bought pornographic videos through Extreme Associates' membership site, ExtremeAssociates.com.

A federal grand jury indicted the couple in August 2003 on 10 counts of conspiracy to defraud the U.S. mailing obscene or crime-inducing matters and transporting obscene matter for sale.

Bingo.

It really is amazing that the asshats at the post office waste time and money on cases like this. It's all a political show.

Maybe they should focus more energy on turning the USPS into an efficient and fiscally responsible monopoly instead of the money drain that it is today.

You're correct. The term "common carrier" is used and FedEx and UPS are common carriers. As a matter of fact, DHL has a notice posted at their offices saying that pornographic material cannot be shipped.

Ethersync 03-11-2009 11:30 AM

Total bullshit. None of the girls complained. Everything was consensual. Started following this case year ago when it first started. Sad to see it end this way.

What I don't understand about this is that a US Postal Representative came to our office in Chatsworth and sold us on using their services. They setup an account for us, gave us software and supplied us with various size boxes for our products. The rep knew exactly what we produced because he took a tour of the studio and warehouse. We stuck with UPS because the boxes they gave us was much better and the delivery guy is real cool.

The bottom line is that if they are after you, they will get you. Rob Black publicly challenged the AG to come after him and they accepted his invitation. What was he expecting law enforcement to show up with, flowers, champagne and laudatory remarks about his product?

yes, but how it gets there is how these people got fucked. max too. when you use the GOV transportation to get "obscene" (what is really obscene, and where?) to the door, you walk right into their trap.

easy targets.

:2 cents:

Yeah, he did do that and if the government wants to make an example out of someone they usually are eventually able to do so. It will be interesting to see how they sentence them.

Barefootsies 03-11-2009 11:46 AM

They shoot some seriously borderline porn. Especially by credit card processing approval standards.

"undercover U.S. Postal Service inspector bought pornographic videos"

This is funny. What did he do use a personal CC rather than a government one when he made the purchase?

I believe they call that a, 'sting', and government issued cards do not have a cardholder like, 'Agent Smith.

Exactly. When the internet is involved there is no community involved. The only people who know you are watching those more are you, the people who sold them to you and anyone you choose to tell. With no community involvement there is no community standard so there shouldn't even be a case.

The AVN article also mentions the movie trailers:

Other issues included how sexually explicit movie trailers posted on membership websites could be found obscene in light of the Supreme Court's recent affirmation of the Third Circuit's striking down of the Child Online Protection Act, as well as the question of what "taken as a whole" means in the context of, for instance, a 21-second video clip posted on a website containing hundreds of such clips, photos and text.

seeric 03-11-2009 03:57 PM

you might as well ship heroine in the USPS, same penalties, but you'd make a hell of a lot more money.

What I dont understand, the judge looked like he would of been in their favor. This looked like it could of been a win but since they didnt have enough money. The lawyers couldnt go the extra two weeks after all these years?

LoveSandra 03-11-2009 05:49 PM

good news

directfiesta 03-11-2009 05:58 PM

Waiting for SPLUM to blame that on Obama ...

Or maybe he is happy that content viewed by consenting adults is illegal and obscene :2 cents:

teh ghey 03-11-2009 06:20 PM

So if they shipped by UPs or FedEx there wouldnt be a problem? or the charges would be lessened?

Fletch XXX 03-11-2009 06:22 PM

im still pissed Tommy Chong was sent to prison for mailing glass, but you guys seemed to not care when that happen.

There may have been no charges at all. As far as I know it is illegal to distribute obscene material through the US mail. So they would have had to prove the material is obscene, then, by default, they would be guilty of distributing it through the US mail. I don't think the same rules apply for UPS and FedEX

All too common. But I'll bet there is more to the story. Always is.

I worked with rob black for a couple years when i first started and he ost certainly has some of the more hardcore shit out there.

Rob and Max were battling for who was more extreme.

Shame to see them both take it as far as to both be behind bars.

Shipping by ups and fed ex i think might be ok. Im not in that specific line of business so Im not sure, But I have worked in adult plenty of years and I at one time worked a short stint with UPS.

UPS told me they do not know what ANYONE ships unless the address to deliver to dosnt exist. They then send it back to original sender. If thats an issue they then open the package. Other than that they dont search, xray or have any drug sniffing dogs.

They have no way of knowing what is shipped unless damaged/opened or undeliverable.

Also, them being a worldwide private organization, I dont think the same federal laws apply.

Again, Im not positive, but that is my belief as of now...
