I wanted to give you a public :thumbsup for the way you helped me after I wrote in to close my account.

Your staff were consummate professionals. I was given full and compete access to everything that was necessary to move data from 2 servers. And I was given that access without any drama at all.

The way you handled a closing account means that Phatservers would certainly be a top contender for future hosting needs.

I cannot say the same thing about all your competition. One 'top notch' host shut off my access with nearly a week of paid time left on my account.

So kudos. You deserve them. :)

note: my move away from them had nothing to do w/ drama, I merely moved to be with company servers.

phatservers are great, i use them for multiple projects, two separate accounts

Phat have always been the best guys. I'm a complete nub when it comes to changing permissions in apache/ssh and they helped me through it at 3am and 7pm ... always within 5 mins.

BTW, what aside from cost could make you want to move your stuff from whats arguably one of the best hosts we have?

No worries, and I agree, they are one of the best hosts. So is Mojohost, which is where I went.

It was just an internal thing that worked out best for me. :)

I made the move to them about 6 months ago... best move I've ever made. Always superfast support and very tolerant of the fact I have Iroquois in me, but I speak no Apache.
