Basketball Fans: Who is the nba mvp this year?

Although I am a true laker fan, and Love Kobe's game, I think Lebron is going to win it this year. What he has done, and the way he brings out the best in his teammates make me think he will win. D Wade has come on strong for the second half, but a team that won't win 50 games will probably not help his cause.

What do you guys think?

Just_Dave 03-13-2009 12:14 PM

i think you are right on the dot

I'm glad you're thinking like a true basketball fan and not just a Laker fan.

It's LeBrons turn this year and he's earned it.

If the Cavs didn't have their incredible record, then I'd say maybe it's up for grabs since Kobe got it last year, then it's either Kobe, Wade or LeBron. MVP is definitely gonna be LeBron.

You are correct, sir!

Ramos 03-13-2009 12:24 PM

Lebron James.

Wade? What has he done without Shaq? Shit, what did he do with Shaq after the first year of being with him? Shaq got no recognition so he stopped making Wade look good and Wade looked like any other player in the league...

35/29 and Wade deserved MVP?

Look at Orlando in their own division... 47/17 Dwight Howard should have the MVP before Wade.

It's tough watching the Suns.
These guys will do anything and everything they can to blow a lead.
It doesn't get any worse than having the Timberwolves beat you at home.

It's the curse of the coin flip. :disgust

Lebron James with Wade in close second and Kobe tied for third with Paul.

seeric 03-13-2009 01:03 PM

Charles Barkley

I would have to go with Lebron this year Gary.

His play reminds me a lot of Magic. Elevates the whole team's play :thumbsup

Gary Payton

One of my friends wants to bet me $500 that it is not going to be Lebron. I am thinking of taking him up on that bet...

I am just kind of worried about D Wade a little bit, but I think this year will be Lebrons Year. Wade is just doing what Kobe did without Shaq, and that is taking most of the shots.

MrPotatoBread 03-13-2009 01:54 PM

Ray Allen
