Q? Beachfront land in 'other' countries
I was watching some stupid travel show yesterday when it said, "10 years ago an acre on the beach in Honduras would cost $3,000, now it costs $300,000". It did not specify the dimensions of that acre so I don't know how much was beachfront. I don't get out of the house much.... is this true? Is there a particular reason? Did something in Honduras change (people didn't feel safe to invest there before, now they do) or was it just sudden huge demand? Did the demand effect all beachfront property (where it is warm)?
