monetization idea
 

I have a free membership site that's getting about 20 double opt in sign ups a day.


besides e-mailing the members offers and up selling in the free member area is there anything else I can do to monetize these members?

It would be nice if once they signed up to my site, they would also sign up to a site like wegcash to earn me a couple of dollars.. kinda like a (free) X sale

I'm assuming it's Naked.St? My first suggestion is give alittle more information on what you will offer them, because just what I see, theres nothing but an email form...

are you just sending out mails like "hey i got a great offer for you: blahblah"?
..if that's the case you could create a better sales funnel.. something like.. dunno:

- after the initial free signup they get to see a One Time Offer ("you won't see this page again, blah blah"), taking them to some free trial thing (cc verified).

- then, 2 days later, you send 'em a mail asking for their personal preferences (niche): "hey, glad you joined my free site! Anything special you want to see? I'm just asking because i'll be updating my member's area pretty soon i want to satisfy each and every one of my subscribers"

- then, again 2 days later, email them a niche-specific free trial "one time" offer.. "remember my questionaire 2 days ago? ..i found you another kickass site that might interest you.. blah bleh blah."


or something like that. well at least a setup like this works for me in mainstream.

Not really having a prob getting them to sign up, I'm sure I could prob pull more/convert better if I updated the layout and added more details.

I'd really like to just try to monetize the sign ups that I get without sending e-mails :(

I have an ad when you login and right below it
"no thanks, continue to members section"

that's really not working for me.. may be I need to change that ad.
