But seriously, it's really a combo of the overall "style" of anime content, and somewhat of a taboo thing from it's origins, ever see "pixelated porn" from Asia? they have a big thing about not showing a bald pussy, and IF the pussy is bald then they would have a mosaic effect (pixelated) over the genitals, when Anime / Hentia was first created ALL of the chars were bald, and unlike it's human counterparts they did not need to mosiac the genital areas.

However there is in fact some anime content that still features mosaics over the genitals.

From a production aspect though, it's a "quality" issue, these "dolls" have a FAR lower polygon count then say this one....

Notice the above model has more detail everywhere including the genital area, she's more realistic (or human) where the anime content is far more loose, and toonish.
