Question for google experts
I found something interesteing
If I search Kayden Kross I get 1.8 million pages If I search "Kayden Kross" I get 3.6 million apparently I have a misunderstanding about how google works I would have thought the quotes was a more restrictive search and would return fewer results like it does with Mike South and "Mike South" What am I missing? |
notice it says "about..."
and you will also notice if you try to scroll to the end, google will only show you about the first 600 or so either way I guess it boils down to some sort of "glitch" in the way they show those numbers, because you are correct that the quotes are a more restrictive search ...and different datacenters will show different totals too interesting to ponder what is going on in their reporting algorithm |

Google is much like a woman's vagina when it comes to "figuring it out" ...
