looks like the pilot tried to nail the plane nose first into the ground.

I wonder if anyone would have had survived this crash, if this was a regular flight with 100+ passengers on board...

what I'd hate to, is to be involved in a plane crash where you know for a long time you're going to die, as it happens at times (example: Japan airlines flight in the 80's or so, plane was non controllable for 30 minutes until it crashed in the mountains)

here it was pretty much an instant death for the pilots, though surely a horrible one

Burning in a fireball of jet fuel probably wasn't very instantaneous. :(

Batts is going to come to the board and say that he paid all of the webmasters and people he owed money back, but they never received it because the check was on that plane. He will then proceed to say it will be "a bit longer" before he can get more checks out.

You might be right. I thought it also looked like he brought the nose gear down to quickly, and it bounced instead of rolled.
