Any rough idea what the prices for your service will be? I understand it will depend heavily on what the customer needs, but I'm curious about a ballpark figure. Mostly I am interested from an affiliate only standpoint. I use sponsor provided content and keep my own records now, but having a service like this would be nice.

$9.99 for up to 1 GB
$29.99 for up to 5 GBs
$49.99 for up to 10 GBs
$99.99 for up to 15 GBs
$149.99 for up to 20 GBs

All prices are monthly and charged to a credit card on file.

This is for hosting after an 80% compression of your current site. For example, if your site is 100 GBs it should compress down to a 20 GB on our servers. For sites for more than 100 GBs we will do custom quotes.

A copy of the content must be attached to the 2257 records and IDs.

Thanks. Than I have one other question. I don't have 1 big site. I have a ton of blogs and small free sites (as well as galleries for TGP's) so I am always building new stuff. Some of the blogs get updated regularly, but the small free sites and galleries pretty much get built, submitted and forgotten about. So for someone like me my records are always growing. Would I need to then compress and send each new site to you every week (or day or month or however often it is needed) and with the blogs if you compress my blogs as I update do you just compress the new one and replace the old version with the new version?

It wasn't until later when Chad chimed in that I realized that there's probably some people involved in this business venture that do know what they're talking about.

Why anybody would link their product to KB still baffles me. Why wouldn't you get a front man with slightly more credibility? Like maybe an old box of donuts or something.

The service looks good.

You are just uploading and keeping a copy of the content and the docs/IDs. As you add content, you upload the content as well as the 2257 docs and IDs that correspond to those pics or videos. With this system, it grows with your site.

You wont need to compress anything, the software does it automatically.

As for old versions, those should not be deleted. Once they are published, you need to keep the records in case of an inspection.

Okay. I think I understand it now.

Basically if I update my blog with a couple of new pictures or a new movie I just upload that content and any docs that go with it into the system and put in the corresponding urls. No need to compress the whole site.

Hey Robbie -- if the site is too large, you can send a hard drive of your content to our hosting company and they will upload it directly. It will be compressed automatically.

You would then need to upload the 2257 docs and IDs and then attached them to the corresponding content.

At this point I should point out that I may have confused Pornlaw with Chadknowslaw? I'm not sure if it's the same person or two completely different people. In either case, that's the reference to Chad I made.

Further, I have no reason to doubt the compitence of Pornlaw and in that regard I'd be confident that this new service meets all the legal criteria.

So in short, I have no reason to believe this won't be a great service. I'm just surprised anything that includes KB would ever be great, being as he's such an enormous tool.

But who will have the poolside suite????

Thanks.... we really feel that the small to medium websites are our target market. The big guys already have their 2257 solutions in place and have had them for years...

We realize www.2257Safe.com isnt for everyone. But I will talk to Dan, our programming partner, and ask if there is a script that can be written to import existing data into our system.

Per 28 CFR 75 a copy of the depiction (pics/vids) has to be kept with the docs & IDs.
However, the content will be so compressed at upload it will not be of a quality that can be used commercially. Also, the media server will be behind a PCI compliant firewall, no one will want or be able to get to it anyway.

Thanks...I think there are only a couple of major 2257 systems currently out there, so it would (I think) make business sense if your system could take those major databases and directly import the data from them - since that could significantly increase the client base.
