nice site! 12-15 years ago I was a huge bass head and had a truck with a $8,000 system that was all Rockford Fosgate (14 speakers with four 15" subs). I hear today Rockford is not a good name brand as they were back then so if i were to buy subs today I would most likely go with Audiobahn

No Audiobahn is a huge joke it is one of the worst brands.

Rockford Fosgate is good just not what it used to be. Their subs and amps are sold in stores like Best Buy so they are over priced and under spec'd...

I wouldn't buy a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer especially with all of the good internet subwoofer brands.

Their amps have always been decent and always will be.. BUT still over priced and under spec'd so it all depends on what you are paying..

cool i just heard from some people that they had good subs but like I said I've not been into car audio in a very long time.. I am more into my home theater these days

It's easy to buy equipment that won't make you happy. I bought my first system before reading the forums and it was money wasted.

what brand will you guys recommend :) of dual sub??? im pretty much in a tight budget right now.. and amplifier :) will be great thanks
