ClipClinic Partners with Pornotube For Exclusive Channel

ClipClinic.com, the site that helps grassroots producers sell their clips online, has formed a strategic partnership with Pornotube.com.

ClipClinic announced today that it will now be able to host teaser clips from its grassroot studios on Pornotube via an exclusive channel.
Amateur studios with ClipClinic now have access to this high-profile avenue to promote their content.

"This is a great opportunity for ClipClinic studios," says Jim "Gonzo" McAnally. "Being featured on a site with as many visitors as Pornotube will make sure these producers get the exposure they deserve".

To take advantage of this great opportunity for exposure on ClipClinic's Pornotube Channel, contact Gonzo at [email protected] for details.
Pornotube catapulted to fame upon its debut in 2007 and remains an undisputed traffic powerhouse in the adult industry.

Suzann Knudsen, who manages Pornotube, adds, "The news is full of stories these days about people turning to amateur porn to help supplement their incomes. We see a partnership with ClipClinic as doing our part to support our favorite kind of stimulus package."

Interesting concept, but not unforeseen.

Good luck toots.

lol... that was a huge jump... pretty funny really... AEBN owns both sites.

It's funny to me because this is the exact thing I suggested during the development process for "Clip Fetish" which became Clip Clinic and was summarily rejected. The very thought of this announcement just pisses me the fuck off... I have to tell you. It's too bad that management, at the time I was employed there, didn't have time to listen to actual good ideas from the developers that were working there (who pretty much all subsequently left)... but have implemented those ideas one after one for the last year. Hmm... wonder why that is... JS.

As far as I know to this point, ClipsClinic is running dead last in the clips store war behind C4S, Fetish Videos, YouYouGirls, Clips.com. So I guess they needed to try something different and went to the grab bag of ideas.

Scott Coffman is a very cool dude... he was always very cool with me... but some of the people he places trust in are doing jobs that they really have no real clue about how to do. Just because you are good at negotiating with studios doesn't mean you know jack shit about managing traffic sites (or revenue sites for that matter) or development. I am probably being over-emotional about it... but I moved my family 1000 miles to work at AEBN and was very excited about the prospect of being involved with a company that had such a stellar reputation... only to discover that I would be treated like a minimum wage employee... this is not a slight on what they paid me... but a statement about hiring expertise that they didn't utilize at all and actually ignored.

Certainly, I wish AEBN the best... but I think that they should evaluate the projects that have been started under the management of JS and realize that none of them have really made a return on investment because the person making the decisions doesn't have a clue about the subject he is making decisions for. Under his management they lost some great talent that could have actually turned this projects into success if provided the support to do so. Some of that talent was there from the beginning and helped AEBN to become what it is today but were cast off under this persons management.

I won't minimize the fact that there are alot of players in that particular game and that office politics played a role... but that doesn't make me any less bitter about the turn of events. For the record... I quit the job. They never asked me to leave and subsequently offered me another position... but I would have still been in the same situation... so I wasn't interested in it without the proper incentive to do so... something they decided they couldn't afford.

Also... what I am saying here has nothing to do with the VOD side of AEBN... those guys are the utmost professionals and I have extreme respect for Mitch and his entire team.

That ship sailed. I was just pissed off when I read this thread because I suggested this while we were still planning... and I left because of this exact type of thing (I watched project after project get fucked by poor management and faulty processes). I just wish you would have listened closer when I was there... until you posted this... noone would have probably guessed who I was referring to except the people involved. I realize you have a large load and I as I said above there were alot of players in the game and politics involved (oh my lord there were politics).

In retrospect... I apologize for shitting on your announcement thread... it was an asshole thing to do and unprofessional. I am glad that you are using Pornotube to push Clip Clinic... It just was a stab in a wound to me.

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Actually, it's a good marriage! Very smart. I've already heard from several amateur studios about how excited they are to see this addition to PornoTube and assistance pushing their Clip Clinic stores.

Well done!

Why are you guys trying to spin it like you aren't all the same company? Pornotube = aebn, clipclinic = aebn. It's a pretty well known fact. Susann = aebn, Gonzo. = aebn.

The way this is worded it makes it seem like you are pretending that none of the 3 websites / companies / people are connected. It doesn't really make any difference to me your vod really is good. :thumbsup

Now just make pornotube a fully functional sales tool for your affiliates to send ref-code traffic to the site so affiliates could better promote your core vod product via PT & ability to purchase clips / vod / clips directly through the player or additional functionality and you'll be ahead of the game. Everyone wins. But, I am sure you guys already thought of all that, being that your on top of things over there.

Have a nice weekend and cheers to clipclinic & porntube formal engagement.

we should have a party to celebrate! :pimp

Liz,

what can one do to get a channel at Pornotube?

Do you allow partner accounts or keep everything in house?

Who's the go to guy?
