14 yr Girl Charged with Child Porn of HERSELF!!!

WoW!!!

Somehow i dont think Megan's law was meant for this kind of stuff

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bes...rn.charges.cnn

Fletch XXX 03-28-2009 05:04 AM

drug laws werent made to stop college kids fro getting student loans or grants, yet they do.

law are always used to prosecute unintended offenders.

right now college kids are being hit with mandatory federal sentences because they were caught with pot and have financial aid and loans pulled. receivers of federal funds cant have drug charges.

The article is not found. Fake news?

DK 03-28-2009 05:06 AM

I'm not so concerned over the prosecution
something has to be done

Its being labeled as a sex offender (if that happens) that disturbs me

just a punk 03-28-2009 05:31 AM

Sorry, the URL really works.

I thought this law was intended to protect children from adult abuse. But this case is just a high level of anoia. Only in America of course. :disgust

nation-x 03-28-2009 07:40 AM

This is the dumbest fucking thing I have seen today

IllTestYourGirls 03-28-2009 07:56 AM

I saw a story about something like this a few years ago. A 16 year old girl sent erotic photos to her teen boyfriend and both were charged with CP charges.

Where are the parents?

Nope. it was on all the New York TV stations a few days ago. Its real.

AaronM 03-28-2009 09:00 AM

Gotta love the ignorance of Wendy Murphy. "When these photographs go out they're out for good and they are worldwide available with the push of a button. Who likes that? Let me tell you. The predators and the pornographers."

This bitch has 5 kids. How much porn do you think you could find in her house or on her husbands computer?

AaronM 03-28-2009 09:02 AM

As an attorney, one would think that Wendy Murphy would know better than to slander pornographers on national television like that.

very true.

CDSmith 03-28-2009 10:18 AM

1. The little girl in question deserves to be punished, so do her parents. That kind of idiocy can't just be shrugged off as "kids will be kids".

2. labelling her a sex offender is taking it too far. Punishment is warranted, but authorities are twisting Megan's Law a little too far here.

3. Wendy Murphy is an idiot with an obvious agenda. Including pornographers and pornography in her argument when she should be focusing on pedos and producers of CP is pitifully transparent not to mention quite idiotic. She needs to be slapped back to reality. She's billed as someone who has some expertise on the subject but obviously knows very little about it.

Jayvis 03-28-2009 10:55 AM

So if she gets caught masturbating would that be considered child rape/molestation?

Bored 03-28-2009 11:00 AM

dumb, its obviously apples and oranges. Sheesh

John-ACWM 03-28-2009 11:20 AM

lol, I consistently molested myself at that age.
>>> The law obviously hasn't caught up to society in this area, so discretion is necessary. The prosecutor obviously has some agenda... because discretion wasn't exercised.
This act itself deserves mom and dad punishment, not criminal prosecution.

yup I'd be looking at the 3 strikes for life if they locked me up as horny teen for molesting myself :1orglaugh

From the clip I doubt she will get anything more than probation or community service which in my book is the best thing to scare her and her slutty friends who also take and post these types of pics on the net

Ozarkz 03-28-2009 03:05 PM

Is she hot? Damn I miss being 15 - 16.

The girl needs to be punished but not by the law. Maybe her parents should be punished by the law.

Dumbest shit ever.

Remember folks 14 is highschool.

kmanrox 03-28-2009 03:26 PM

i promise i didnt pay her a cent.. i just said i was wondering if she'd be opening to make some pics and hypotheitcally send them to someone like perhaps me but was kind of just joking?

tony286 03-28-2009 03:34 PM

First off when people like this wendy person make stupid fucking statements. This is where the FSC should be answering this with news releases letters to the editor or a possible interview. People say this shit and since no one answers it in peoples minds it become fact.
As far as this whole sexting thing. You give horny teenagers phones with cameras and the ability to send them anywhere and people are actually surprised this is happening. lol
Arresting these kids is fucking stupid, their phone and internet connections should be taken away til they can act more responsibly.

That's the issue. They do seem to want these charges to carry the sex offender label and it seems they really want to start pursuing these sort of cases more the way they're talking about it in the news. I mean come on, a 14 year old girl expresses herself sexually by sending a few boobie pix to her boyfriend or to tease some guy over the net, and she's getting charged with producing child porn and is labeled a sex offender? This is just a little bit fucking ridiculous, no? What happened to educating people on the risks involved with these sort of things? Is creating criminals out of normal everyday people really the answer? Let's start charging any kid who looked at any porn with being a sex offender. Let's label everyone under 18 who has sex a criminal. Let's just start branding and imprisoning anyone under 18 who even thinks about sex, and public execution for unwed teenage mothers!

The girl should be punished by her parents, and maybe be forced to follow some courses on online safety to freak her out.

Realistically speaking, though, this will start happening more and more, and there's not much anyone can do about it. Telling teen girls not to be attention whores is like telling dogs not to sniff ass.

Jayvis 03-28-2009 04:09 PM

The moral of the story is, never have a daughter. Too much work.

GatorB 03-28-2009 04:12 PM

One has to wonder if a 13 year records themselves masturbating and then only uses that recording for their own perosnal use. Is that kid in possesion of CP? In other words can watching yourself masturbate be illegal yet some how masturbating is perfectly ok. And if it is illegal to watch yourself masturbate then wouldn't that apply if you watch yourself masturbate in front of a mirror?

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 03-28-2009 06:04 PM

i masturbated since i was 6.

should i turn myself in, get charged with child molestation and register as a sex offender?

:helpme

Child porn paranoia gone to the extreme, it was only normal it had to end up this way.

Men can't even take pictures of their own kids nowdays.

Exactly. Growing up, didn't a bunch of your parents have naked pictures of you as a baby? I know right in our living, hanging on the wall, me and my little doodle hanging out running down the beach. I demand to know why the police didn't kick my doors down and throw my parents in jail! :1orglaugh

Even Megan's mother does not think this should fall under the law named after her daughter. Teenagers do all kinds of stupid stuff. Honestly I think this girl has learned her lesson. I bet she is embarrassed as hell. :winkwink:

Where are the parents? It was most likely in the parents house, with the parents phone/camera, on the parents computer, with the parents internet connection that all these crimes were committed. The parents should be the only ones responsible for these actions. :2 cents:

EddieBrock 03-29-2009 07:53 AM

I am one the fence with this one. What would stop a 14 year old girl from opening her own adult site if there was no punishments? I agree with Tony's punishment of no cell phones or Internet. They did the same thing with hackers in the late 80s.

CheeseFrog 03-29-2009 10:43 AM

In Texas, they don't play "Texas Hold 'Em". They just play Hold 'Em. In Mexico, they don't call it a "Mexican standoff." They just call it a standoff. So when a 14y/o takes naked pictures of herself, what would you call it?

Way too assumptive.

Kids these days have online access from a myriad of sources (on my street alone my wifi picks up at least half a dozen unsecured signals from neighbours). Libraries have wifi...coffee shops - all kinds of places.

As a father to two teenage daughters myself - I can tell you its not possible to monitor your kid's activities 24/7.

Sure, its easy to blame the parents and hold them responsible.

Its also easy to ignore reality.

cykoe6 03-29-2009 11:30 AM

This is that sort of Orwellian nonsense that will destroy American society completely. This stuff is turning into the Salem witch trials. No one wants to stand up against this mania lest they be accused of being some kind of ped0 themselves. It is total madness.

People need to stand up against things like this. Sending naked pics of yourself at 14 is stupid thing to do. You should not be labeled a sex offender because of it. Megan's law needs to be changed.

Clearly you don't have kids. I mean seriously. I couldn't imagine a fourteen year old without their own cell phone.

My daughter is eight years old. She has her own laptop with a web cam, her own Youtube account, and her own cell phone. She has access to dozens of websites from Chobots to Club Penguin. She can make a video directly from her laptop and upload it to her Youtube account so quickly it would make your head spin; I don't even know how she does it myself. I try to monitor everything she does, but it's difficult to keep up.

Anyone who thinks a fourteen year old has twenty-four hour a day adult supervision is kidding themselves. Think back to when you were in high school and all of the crap you did. I was knocking out LSD in eight grade; Freshmen year in high school we discovered that the dark room in the photography class was a great place to sneak a smoke. Did you always have an adult looking over you when you were in high school?

pamon 03-29-2009 11:26 PM

camera phones and social networks just breed this type of behavior. This type of stuff will just increase as the year(s) go on.

Spot on right. :thumbsup

This case should be used like it to make sure other children don't make the same mistakes. Keeping quiet about it does the opposite.

How many here with children over 13 and own a mobile have sat their children down and had a talk with them because of this case?

From what I heard this will be heard in Juvenile Court and I think they don't have the power to label kids as sex offenders. Am I right?

Nothing if you don't have this reaction and paranoia over the cases that do come up. Punishment is also about prevention.

Raf1 03-30-2009 03:14 AM

this shit is crazy. The girl should be punished, but like someone else said: labeling her a sex offender is taking it too far...

Vicious_B 03-30-2009 07:57 AM

Prosecuting this girl as sex offender is not going to stop this behavior. Just like with every other stupid thing kids do they always think they won't get caught.

Whether or not the parents should be held responsible should depend on the situation. Hell my parents were very involved in my life, knew all my friends and 90% of the time knew exactly where I was and what I was doing but there was that 10% of the time where I did stupid shit.

All you can do is talk to your kids and try and make them really think about their actions. Most parents can't stand to think about their children being sexual beings at 13 or 14 but the reality is they are. Understanding that and talking to them is the best preventative. But you also need to be in their business. With my kids I have their passwords to their email accounts and their myspace accounts. I know their friends and check their friends myspace pages also to see what kind of photos and nonsense they are posting.
